Oyuncu bilgileri
Alireza Firouzja is a French chess grandmaster and one of the most naturally gifted attacking players of the modern era. He appeared on the March 2026 FIDE classical list at world No. 6 with a 2759 rating. Firouzja broke into the absolute elite at a very young age, won the 2021 Grand Swiss to qualify for the Candidates, and later became the youngest player ever to cross the 2800 mark. He followed that breakthrough with a dominant 2022 Grand Chess Tour campaign and added another major all-around success in 2024 by winning both the Sinquefield Cup and the overall Grand Chess Tour. Even when his results fluctuate, he remains one of the most dangerous players in any field because of his creativity, speed, and willingness to take complex positions deeper than most opponents want to go.
Oyun tarzı
Firouzja plays with speed, ambition, and a constant willingness to complicate the game. At his best, he combines deep tactical vision with enough positional feel to keep risky-looking decisions sound. He is especially dangerous when he gets initiative early, because he is comfortable making the game messy and forcing the opponent to solve difficult problems over the board. That attacking instinct is a defining trait of his profile and one of the reasons he has been seen for years as a potential world-title contender.
