Javokhir Sindarov
GM
Oyuncu bilgileri
Javokhir Sindarov is an Uzbek chess grandmaster and one of the most dangerous young players in the world. He became a grandmaster in 2018 before turning 13, placing him among the youngest grandmasters in chess history. His early promise has now turned into elite-level results: he helped Uzbekistan win team gold at the 2022 Chess Olympiad, won the 2025 FIDE World Cup as the youngest champion in the event’s history, and qualified for the 2026 Candidates. On the April 2026 FIDE classical list he is rated 2745 and sits inside the world top 15. Sindarov’s profile is built on confidence, tactical speed, and a willingness to play uncompromising chess even against more established super-grandmasters. By 2025–26, he was no longer just a prospect from a strong Uzbek generation, but a fully credible contender in the world championship cycle.
Oyun tarzı
Sindarov is a proactive and fearless player. He is willing to enter sharp positions early, trusts his preparation, and does not seem uncomfortable when the game becomes tactical or unbalanced. That gives his chess a direct, energetic character, but his recent results also show improving maturity: he is no longer only a tactical shot-maker, but a player capable of carrying deep tournament runs in classical elite events. That combination of speed and confidence is a major reason he has moved from “promising junior” to real contender.
