GM
Oyuncu bilgileri
Nodirbek Abdusattorov is an Uzbek chess grandmaster and one of the strongest young players in world chess. On the March 2026 FIDE classical list he stood at world No. 5 with a 2771 rating, and by April he had climbed to 2780. Abdusattorov became globally known after winning the 2021 World Rapid Championship at 17, then confirmed that breakthrough by leading Uzbekistan to gold at the 2022 Chess Olympiad on board one. Since then he has continued to add elite classical results, including major tournament victories in Prague and Tata Steel. His rise is built on a rare blend of tactical sharpness, opening confidence, and competitive calm in high-pressure situations. Even among the new generation of super-grandmasters, he has developed one of the most complete résumés across classical and rapid formats.
Oyun tarzı
Abdusattorov is a dynamic but very disciplined player. He is willing to enter sharp positions, yet he rarely looks reckless; even in tactical games, his decisions tend to be grounded in strong positional logic. He is especially dangerous when he gains initiative from the opening, but his board-one performances for Uzbekistan also showed mature resilience and defensive accuracy. That mix of aggression and control is a major reason he has remained near the very top of the rating list.
