S.T.Dupont, the renown maker of pens — the company supplied pens to Napoleon — became the official writing instrument of the 2018 World Chess Championship. It produced a limited edition ‘chess pen’ — black and white pattern, platinum and meteorite dust (you can’t go wrong with the meteorite!).

The result: one of the most phographed pens that year, some of the most historic moments in the sport sealed with that pen, and a sold out limited edition.
