We’ve just introduced one of the biggest quality-of-life improvements on World Chess: a completely redesigned player profile.

The new profile shows your chess life in a way that’s actually useful. You can now see your rating progress clearly — rises, dips, streaks — and understand how you compare not just globally, but against players in your country and even your city. It gives you a sense of where you really stand, not just a number.

We’ve kept the design simple and fast. Your style, your recent form, and the way you’ve been playing are all visible at a glance.

A major new addition: you can now hide your games. Many competitive players asked for this — no more giving opponents easy prep. If you want privacy, you have it.

Redesigned Search

We’ve also improved how you search for games and opponents. It’s now easier to find past games, revisit rivals, and browse opponents in a cleaner, more intuitive layout. Faster, clearer, and far less mechanical.

Coming in December

Next month, PRO members will get Trends Analysis — a new way to see your chess patterns instantly. Think of it as the Apple Watch take on your gameplay: quick, practical insights that show what’s improving and what needs attention.

Your new profile is live today. Explore it, check your standing, and see how your chess looks from a wider angle.

More improvements soon.
